Design of the abutment

The 'Abutment 3D' software is used to design the shape of the CARES abutment on-screen (this software is an integral part of the 'inLab 3D' design software*).

Once the design is complete, the data generated is transmitted to the Straumann production center via the Internet (www.straumann.com/CARES or www.infiniDent.de). A fast Internet connection is recommended for this.

On the Sirona website, you will find information about installing and operating the hardware (inLab and inEos) and software (inLab 3D).

Ordering via the Internet

If the data transmission is successful, an acknowledgement of receipt is sent.

Before the CARES abutments are fabricated at the Straumann production center, the data is subjected to an incoming inspection. If the data record is found to contain errors, a message is sent so that corrections can be made. Only then does Straumann issue a definitive order acknowledgment.
