The individual steps in the Straumann^® CARES process

The implant-borne prosthesis is completed at the dental laboratory. To make the cement-retained single tooth crown, the CARES abutment is fixed to the implant analog.

Please note:

• Titanium abutment copings are not suitable for direct veneering.
• The CTE of the CARES ceramic abutments is 10.5. For direct veneering, the CTE of the veneering ceramic must be compatible. Before using the CARES ceramic abutment, the information contained in the package insert no. 150.901 must be taken into account.

The finished restoration is sent to the dental practice.
