This animal study concluded that significantly higher bone-to-implant contact was measured along SLActive implants after 4 and 8 weeks compared to NanoTite™ implants.  In this study, bone regeneration in surgically-created dehiscence-type defects is supported by SLActive® implants rather than by NanoTite implants.
